The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), along with the RASV Beef Cattle Committee, held a livestream of the 2020 Hoof and Hook Competition which took place at the Yea Saleyards on Saturday 26 September.  Geordie Elliot was the judge of the Competition.   He has a broad range of experience in the livestock industry, growing up as a fifth generation livestock producer on his family’s prime lamb and cattle business in south west Victoria.  He is currently working as the Livestock Production and Nutrition Specialist for WesternAG.  This year the Australian Shorthorn team selection for the Borthwick Trophy are represented by exhibits from the Harris Family (Meadow Vale) and Rutherglen High School.  The Society extends its thanks to all concerned.   There are 11 breeds represented in this aspect of the competition.
